Thanks to Derrick Seaman and his staff from Seaman & Sons Builders who have secured the west side of the Range Light to help protect it for the winter. The restoration work to be done will be to replace the plywood, cedar shingles, window, door repair, ventilation and paint. The work is estimated to cost between $75,000 and $100,000.
The Marine Heritage Society along with the Propellor Club with the help of other Community Groups are hoping to raise upwards of $20,000 by planning some unique events for next spring as COVID 19 allows.
