The winter months are hard on the docks at Chantry Island. Preparing them for the summer boat tours requires innovation and alot of hard work. This summer required work underwater to arrange the chains that hold the dock in place.
Doug Johnson raised the flag on a new flagpole installed at the Chantry Island Tour Base and Gift Shop. Look for the flag when you arrive for your tour to Chantry Island.

The Southampton Marine Heritage Society would like to send out a huge Thanks to Professor Justin Brunner and his students who developed a new website for the Marine Heritage Society to help us promote The Chantry Island Tours. This was done as a whole class project with 26 websites developed and with the help of our volunteers they narrowed it down to 10 then to 4 and then to this new site. What a wonderful way for our volunteer group to get students involved.
