Kate Klippert and Chantry Island Lighthouse

This is a picture of the Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters in the days of the Klippert family.  Shown is Kate Klippert.  Please note the buildings that have been added to the original modest stone Keeper's House.  The original whitewash shows some wear.  The Lighthouse has been freshly whitewashed as of 1997 as has the red paint on the rails and windows.
