n     Was a key designer/developer of  Cimlinc’s products

n     Company was an early leader in workstation use in computer aided design and manufacturing.

  • Developed the first commercial interference free NC cutting of complex dies and molds.

  • Developed an integrated design/manufacturing process for the mold industry.

·         We developed unique solutions for GM, IBM and many Fortune 500 companies in both software and hardware.

·         Developed Graphical Numerical Control in conjunction with the British Government.

Senior Mathematician at GM Research, Senior Development Engineer at Fisher Body Division.  Worked on the corporate graphic system for GM and a huge data base for new car sales for Marketing Staff.  Was responsible for cutting technology in the corporate graphic system.  I also developed the tolerance charting technology at Ternstedt Division.

      Subsequently specialized in interpolation theory and shape manufacture in my professional  use of my mathematical education.

·         Patent in the secure production of random numbers by combining “white noise” and a pseudo random number generator.   This can be used in areas where security is vital.  E.g. gaming

Technical reading of German, various assembly languages, Fortran, C, Visual Basic, Database Software, HTML, Java, database languages such as SQL used in Oracle, SQL Server, ACCESS and FoxPro.

Community activities:

·         I give talks to community volunteer groups and business people on strategic planning of products and projects.

Objectives:

 

I would like to use my ability in large system design, programming and implementation.  My particular skills involve the mathematical and human aspects of design and manufacture, database design and programming.  

·         I would like to contribute to a corporations development by assisting in product development, both design and actual implementation with my  programming ability. 

·         I have excellent Webmaster and writing skills.  I can easily develop, maintain and enhance your web site.

·         I have given  many seminars on strategic planning and marketing.  I could assist any company in this as it relates to high technology.

·         I would like to work from my home where possible and attend meetings or technical sessions where required.  I can expend approximately 2000 hours per year.  

·         I am an expert in certain key areas of design and computer aided manufacturing.  Some are:

  • Surface mathematics and design.

  • Line interpolation and sweetening

  • Interference free cutting of complex shapes.

·         I have a very high energy level and have well developed motivational skills.

Hobbies:

 

·         Mathematics.  I recently developed a unique relationship between a multiplicative function, the Rieman-Euler equation and Bernstein Polynomials.  This is an exciting addition to this little known area of mathematics.

·         History: I have read hundreds of books  on the causes and effects of World Wars I and II

·         Speaking: I enjoy motivational speaking.  In the past year I have given 20 talks concerning historic restoration.  These include music.  I also give strategic planning seminars to communities and business.

·         Writing: I’m a published author and have written many small articles on technology and history.  I do newsletters and write articles for newspapers.

·         Archeology... I've participated in 3 archeological digs.

·         Art... ·         Programming:  I recently developed a “super calculator” that is a combination of calculator and spreadsheet.    Other skills are:

  • Graphical User Interfaces.

  • Rapid prototyping of products.


 

Sports:

 

·         I am a long distance runner having run 13 marathons including the Boston Marathon 4 times.

·         I’m a good golfer -- Twice the Saugeen senior match play champion.

·         I enjoy swimming.
